// The film explores the quiet relationship between the body and the domestic environment, asking how we use, care for, adapt, and even take advantage of the objects that support our everyday lives. Chairs, tables, doors, lamps, and other familiar objects often fade into the background of daily routines, yet they silently guide our gestures, postures, and patterns of movement. For this film I used my Object Chair, mobiles, and the Coloured Pencil Drawings as active and passive participants.
Rather than treating domestic objects as static or purely functional, Regular Home considers them as active participants in everyday life. Every interaction is a choreography that reveals the reciprocal relationship between body and object. The film invites viewers to reconsider these ordinary encounters, suggesting that movement is not only influenced by the spaces we inhabit but also by the objects we have designed, lived with, and cared for over time. By slowing down these familiar actions, Regular Home uncovers the subtle ways that domestic objects shape our experience of home, while asking how more thoughtful engagement with them might deepen our appreciation of the environments we create and inhabit.
