Overview:
Problem: Stigma in firefighting communities regarding the wearing and use of protective masks, combined with the lack of specific wildfire smoke protective masks.
Solution: Design and build specific masks to combat wildfire smoke. Mask created using a 6-layer system including an activated carbon layer, which absorbs a wide variety of toxins, gases, odors, and other pollutants.
Tools: Illustrator, Blender, Rhino 3D, and After Effects.
